The Two Worlds of Kwajalein

In many ways. Kwajalein is a unique experience. For most of us, it combines the best of two worlds: the naturally beautiful and the technically challenging. One world is that of the mid-Pacific atoll -- the blue lagoon, the coral reef, and the gentle culture of a warm and friendly people. The other world brings on the challenge of working with active and highly sophisticated technical programs. In the past decade, these worlds have been brought together for a succession of people from a number of the nation's leading companies. To most of us who have had the opportunity of spending a tour at the Kwajalein Field Station, it has been a rare, almost precious, chapter in our lives. We are indeed the lucky ones.
